Me and a couple of friends were talking about having a burlesque themed party. As we were sitting and looking for clothes online I got the inspiration for this drawing:D

Tools:watercolor,ink and markers. Also added extra effect on their eyes with ps:)

So, the twins looks almost absolutely identical, which must have been extremely difficult. The picture itself is really really pleasing, I adore the color-scheme and the solemn look of the entire piece. All the purples pinks and green, and the blue of the bottom match together really nicely. The beads also add an interesting touch, especially how they tie the arms together, it's a nice metaphor

The sharp points on the dresses are a little unusual to me, usually if it's a bustle dress, it's more of a curve or a puff coming out of the back. I can't quite tell if the bottom is smoke of water, but perhaps that's intentional.

It's a beautiful piece, I really love it. [:

P.S. The background must have taken a ton of effort!

Oh my, this is quite an interesting piece. I can really see the effort in it, and the detail is spectacular. I like their calm, solemn faces. And the colors you used are setting a great mood; adding to the mystical and calm feeling.

On thing though is that I notice the white shine, seems to have been done digitally. It was blended pretty well (because mixed media blending is a pain to hit, I've tried!), but I could suggest using a white prismacolor pencil, or if you don't have any of those, a gel pen or something of the sort.

But other than that, this is quite an attention-grabber! I really do like it. And you proportioned the twins amazingly! :heart: I hear that is always one of the hardest things to do when drawing a picture such as this.

Overall, stunning job. It's always a joy seeing art from you! :nod:

I really mean it when I say this is absolutely beautiful. :wow: I think this is my favorite piece yet by you. I keep scrolling up to look at it.
Did you add the little white shine in the eye with photoshop? As a suggestion, I bet you could use white gel pen for that in the future. Just a suggestion. ;)
